Royal Botanic Gardens Internship - United Kingdom

This internship offers the opportunity to take part in the programs of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, England, one of the world's foremost botanical and horticultural institutions. Au Sable Institute has a special relationship with the Royal Botanic Gardens, which allows one Au Sable student per year to work alongside Kew staff in the department of their choice. The work of the Intern may include working with living plants in the horticultural department; in its world-renowned herbarium with systematic botanists; in one of the laboratories in chemistry, cytology or plant anatomy; or taking part in the work of the seed bank which is the largest depository for the seeds of wild species of the world. The period of this internship normally is three months. The Au Sable Institute will meet international travel costs and interns will pay for their living expenses.
