Environmental Education Internship - Lebanon

This internship provides an opportunity to teach environmental education, assist in development of education materials for Lebanese school children, and experience life in a Middle Eastern culture. The internship would run approximately mid-March until mid-June, and involves 2-3 days per week of teaching, with non-teaching days being used for curriculum and material development. The intern is part of a teaching team of four, receiving groups of approximately 30 students per day. Previous experience in environmental education would be very beneficial. Accommodation will be provided at the A Rocha Lebanon guest flat. International travel costs will be met by Au Sable Institute, and interns will be given assistance in raising their living expenses by material from the A Rocha Trust and Au Sable Institute.
