Board and Staff Michigan State University, 1972, B.S. (fisheries and wildlife) Admissions/Registrar and Au Sable-Great Lakes Biography/Interests My hobbies come directly from my love of spending time in nature, and follow the seasons. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are a joy in winter, with birding, hiking/camping, biking and fishing in the other seasons. Accomplices come from a wonderful group of friends from church, local groups and Au Sable. In all of these things my greatest support and companionship comes from my wife, two daughters, parents and new son-in-law. Mysteriously, they share similar interests and priorities, and reinforce the meaning in these pursuits! Selected Publications/Presentations Mahan, D.C. 1995. Teaching environmental responsibility.
