Biography/Interests
Ed Brown has been with Au Sable Institute since June, 2000. He is responsible for directing the administrative and operational side of Au Sable from the Administrative offices in Madison, Wisconsin, providing the tools with which the Institute's mission can be accomplished.

Ed came to Au Sable from a varied career which included pastoral ministry as well as mission work overseas and administrative experience with InterVarsity Christian fellowship. Ed's background in overseas ministries makes him interested in developing Au Sable programs that prepare students to address the serious ecological crises in many parts of the world.

Ed is married to Susanna, and has three teenagers at home (as well as one older daughter out in the workforce). His current interests are driven by the whirlwind of teenage activity around him: cheering at volleyball games, applauding at plays and concerts, and learning to appreciate contemporary Christian music.
