Biography/Interests
At the Institute, Muriel Janisse receives and responds to correspondence from students, faculty, representatives and staff. She also oversees the admissions of students to the various programs offered by the Institute. She came to the Institute with a background in office management after five years managing ADM Accounting Firm, Kalkaska, MI and five years as office manager for ITT Corporation, Bellaire, MI. Muriel has continued her education with courses in Accounting, Business Law, Computer Technology and other computer applications. She has been at the Institute since May 1983.
On a personal level, Muriel and husband John have two grown children and one grandchild. Muriel is actively involved in her local church as Secretary of the Missions Committee, formerly served as church clerk for 12 years, and serves as Vice-Chairman of Ladies Missionary Fellowship after 10 years of serving as Chairman.
