Board and Staff
At the Au Sable Pacific Rim campus, I serve as administrative assistant to the director, Dr. Robert Pelant. Working with the Au Sable staff, faculty, students and friends of Au Sable has been a very rewarding experience for me. The majority of my training and experience have been in business management, accounting and computer applications. I spent over 20 years in the cable television industry - five years managing cable operations for Multi-Visions in Alaska, followed by 15 years managing a group of cable television systems in central Washington. During those years, I enjoyed serving the community in a variety of leadership roles to include chair of the Central Washington University Foundation, Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and the John Clymer Museum. Having been raised on Isle Royale, an island in the middle of Lake Superior, my desire to return to a lifestyle that offered similar amenities, brought about our move to Whidbey Island where my husband Ray and I enjoy fishing, crabbing, the incredible Pacific Northwest and the Puget Sound waterways. When not on our boat, we spend our time working around our home site. We enjoy time with our families, our children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. God has richly blessed us! |
