Location
The campus is near Mancelona, Michigan in the northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. It is about 30 miles east of Traverse City and about 75 miles south of the Mackinac bridge.

Directions
From the east:
Take I-75 to County 612 in Frederic (at the light in Frederic you will turn left (south) and then make a quick right (west) on to 612) for 12 miles. Turn right onto Sunset Trail. At stop sign, turn right onto Twin Lake Road. Go approximately 1/4 mile to the Institute driveway on the right side of the road.

From the west:
Take US 131 north of Kalkaska 7 miles (or 4 miles south of Mancelona). When going north, turn right onto Twin Lake Road. Take this 9 miles. As you are driving around Big Twin Lake, the road becomes Sunset Trail. The Institute driveway is on the right.
