Campaign Update

Au Sable faculty, staff, students, alumni and board members have contributed and pledged over $55,000 in a fund-raising campaign launched last October for a new campus for Au Sable-Pacific Rim on Whidbey Island, Wash.

"This...demonstrates a broad base of support for this new program and lays the groundwork for approaching major funders," Dr. Calvin B. DeWitt, Au Sable Director, said.

Dr. Orin Gelderloos, chairman of the board of trustees, added, "This level of devotion and dedication shows a deep commitment to the mission of Au Sable."

The campaign will continue into the year 2000.
