Notes from Au Sable

Encouraging Scholarship

Au Sable alumnus Geoff Abma, a fourth year student at The King's University College in Edmonton, Alberta, is one of 15 Canadian students to receive a $1,500 Governor General's Canada Scholarship in Environmental Sciences.

The award is sponsored by DuPont Canada, Inc., in partnership with Industry Canada, and is administered by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. It is designed to foster greater environmental awareness in young Canadians and encourage those who show outstanding commitment to resolving environmental problems.
