•   Hear special speaker, Vern Stephens, a wildlife biologist for the Michigan DNR, give a presentation on native plants that attract butterflies and other wildlife. 

•   Talk with master gardener Mary Walker for practical tips on growing native plants in our challenging conditions.

•   Walk through our native plant demonstration garden and new butterfly house.

•   Learn to identify Michigan butterflies.

•   Participate in a local butterfly count that will be submitted to the North American Butterfly Association as part of their annual national count. (Rain Date: July 22, 3:00pm ).
