Winter Snowshoe Hike
Program Length: 2 hours
When Offered: February 10, 17, 24 (2:00-4:00 P.M.)

Snowflake shapes, animal tracks and signs, forest microclimates and the special life they shelter, the effect of snow depth on the creatures who live below its surface… all these topics and more are a part of the hike which is designed to get us out in the woods during the exquisitely beautiful and exhilarating time of year. Au Sable will provide the snowshoes and the naturalist guides.

*Please dress in layers, bring a hat and mittens, and wear insulated boots.
