Great Lakes

Au Sable Institute's environmental education program offers a wide variety of day-long field trip options for schools and other groups from Northwest Lower Michigan. Each field trip study unit is designed to captivate the students' interest and to teach basic concepts about the natural world that are appropriate to the students' grade level. The program is located in the beautiful north woods. A lake, pond and large forest with a network of trails make it an ideal place to teach students about the natural world.
