Elements of Our Environment - Plants
Offered September, October, May
Appropriate Age Level: 2nd grade

Plants are the focus of this study. In the morning, students investigate the function of flowers, seeds, and leaves. In the afternoon as students explore our trails, they discover the seasonal changes in the plant structures they studied earlier. Students also learn that not all plants have flowers. Some plants never ever bloom! Environmental Awareness
