Summary:

The Cedarville University Department of Science and Mathematics seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the human anatomy and physiology sequence and microbiology courses that primarily serve students in nursing and pharmaceutical science programs. Applicants may be expected to develop an upper-division elective for biology majors such as nutrition, developmental biology, pathophysiology, or human cadaver dissection and/or establish an undergraduate research program based on their interests and experience.

This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials along with other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. Abilene Christian University - Full-time faculty to teach Anatomy and Physiology

The Department of Biology at Abilene Christian University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position for Fall 2019. Successful applicants must have a Ph. D. in biology or related field.  We are seeking a Physiologist and/or a health science related fields such as Microbiology. Applicants from other biological disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.  

Primary responsibilities will be to teach the Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab courses. Additional responsibilities will include training undergraduate A&P lab teaching assistants/tutors, working with other professors to improve A&P pedagogy, and attending departmental and other relevant meetings. We have a tradition of undergraduate research in the department of Biology.  Therefore, the successful applicant will be encouraged to involve undergraduate in research.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
