Dr. Rachel Lamb

Rachel Lamb earned her PhD in Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). Through her research, Rachel uses NASA carbon monitoring data to shape forest carbon policy that is good for the climate, the economy, and biodiversity. Rachel also holds a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from UMD and undergraduate degrees in environmental science and international relations from Wheaton College.

Rachel is the former National Organizer and Spokesperson for Young Evangelicals for Climate Action and works in advocacy in Washington D.C. In 2015, Rachel was recognized by the Whitehouse's Champions of Change Program for her work on climate action in faith communities.
