Participants at the 2025 Winter Symposium.
Join us at Au Sable’s Great Lakes campus in northern Michigan from December 30, 2026, to January 3, 2027, for the Winter Symposium on Creation Care.
The symposium will provide a theological and biblical foundation for a lifetime of caring for God’s earth. Morning sessions will explore Christian environmental stewardship through the lenses of theology, ethics, ministry, and ecology. Participants will also head outdoors to explore northern Michigan’s winter ecology. Fires will be built and hot chocolate will be consumed.
The symposium is open to current undergraduate students and anyone who has graduated within the past three years. You do not need to be an Au Sable alum or a science major to attend! Invite a friend or gather a group from your school and carpool.
Registration is $97, with a reduced rate of $77 for students who have previously studied at Au Sable. Both rates include four nights of lodging and all meals.
Space is limited to 30 participants, and our last symposium filled to capacity. Registration closes at midnight on Sunday, December 6. Click the button below to be taken to the registration site.
