On Friday, August 14, as Au Sable closed out another summer of courses, we also celebrated by awarding 12 students 14 Au Sable certificates. This summer marked the first offering of our newly revised certificate programs, and it was exciting to see so many students take part in this opportunity.

Au Sable certificates are intentionally designed to help bridge the gap between a student’s college education and their next steps as an environmental professional. Each certificate combines immersive field skills with hands-on experience and provides a pathway toward nationally recognized professional organizations and credentials in environmental science and conservation.

We are encouraged by this year’s strong participation and hope this trend continues as Au Sable works to educate and train students for professions that inspire and educate people to serve, protect, and restore God’s earth.
