Jon Terry,
Executive Director
Jon is the Executive Director of the Au Sable Institute. In this role, he works in close partnership and collaboration with the board of trustees and leads a staff team fully committed to Au Sable’s mission. Jon was a student at Au Sable in the early 1990s while earning a Biology degree from Calvin College.

Dr. Heath Garris, Director of College Programs
Heath is the Au Sable Director of College Programs. He works with Au Sable faculty, staff and students and oversees the college program. Heath has a Biology degree from Furman University, an MS in Biology from University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a PhD in Integrated Bioscience from University of Akron. Heath also teaches Field Techniques in Wetlands during Summer Session I at the Great Lakes campus.

Eric Bond,
Director of Support Services
As the Director of Support Services, Eric manages and oversees all Au Sable facilities and support staff. Eric took classes at Au Sable while working towards his Environmental Biology degree at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Eric has worked at Au Sable, in different capacities, since 2004.

Paul Wiemerslage, Environmental Education Coordinator
As coordinator of the environmental education program Paul works to engage local schools and the faith community and manages Mae’s Garden and Greenhouse, which supplies native plants to schools and churches for use in our REYS and Sacred Grounds programs. Paul took classes at Au Sable while working towards his Biology degree at Bethel University in St. Paul. He holds a MS in Environmental Education from Western Washington University.

Ashley Rosenberger, Assistant Director of College Programs
Ashley is the Assistant Director of College Programs and, in that role, serves as the Admissions Manager for the College Program. While working on her Biology degree at Messiah University, Ashley attended Au Sable at the Great Lakes campus, India Campus, and Pacific Rim campus. She holds a MS in Environmental Science from Taylor University.

Celeste Bond, Office Manager
As Office Manager, Celeste manages and oversees office operations such as account management, payroll, correspondence, and other clerical function. Celeste has a degree in English from Cornerstone University. She has been a valued part of the Au Sable community since 2004, serving and working in different roles at Au Sable.
